I read in Motor Trend that there were plans for a 07 SRT10 Ram but production was canx.:saint:

As was already said, I bet this was just a promo truck made in the event there was a 2007 run, or just a dressed up/rebadged 2006 Ram SRT-10 to keep the hype going.

A few articles regarding end of Ram SRT-10 production in 2006:

Dodge plans to put the world's fastest pickup out to pasture at the end of the year

Dodge will cease production of the Ram SRT10 pickup at the end of the 2006 model year. With its six-speed manual transmission and 8.3-litre V10 engine, which was borrowed from the Dodge Viper and generated 500 horsepower, the SRT10 earned an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "fastest production pickup truck." Its top speed is 248 kilometres an hour and its zero-to-96-km/h time is a hair more than five seconds. Other performance items include Bilstein mono-tube shock absorbers, performance-tuned springs and various aerodynamic aids to keep the truck rooted at higher speeds. Only about 2,000 units were sold annually since it appeared for the 2004 model year.

Dodge looks at replacement for Ram SRT-10

After announcing that it had ended production of the Dodge Ram SRT-10, the Chrysler Group is looking at a replacement for its high-performance truck.

Dan Bodene, Chrysler SRT spokesman, said that the replacement for the Dodge Ram SRT-10 is likely “within the truck portfolio,” but ruled out several possibilities. He said the company probably will not do a high-performance Durango due to its size and weight. He also said a Dodge Nitro SRT is unlikely because the compact SUV can’t accommodate the company’s vaunted Hemi engine.

Dodge’s only SRT vehicle confirmed for production in the truck/crossover segment is the Caliber SRT-4, which is due out later this year.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Chrysler Group said on Monday it has stopped making the Dodge Ram SRT10 high-performance truck.

Dan Bodene, Chrysler Group's Street and Racing Technology/motorsports spokesman, told Inside Line that engineering teams are looking at a replacement for the Ram SRT10 "within the truck portfolio," but he said the company probably will not do a Durango SRT "because of its size and weight and the impact on performance."

In addition, Bodene said that a Dodge Nitro SRT is undecided, but added that "the likelihood of that is low because of powertrain concerns." The Nitro can't accommodate the company's vaunted Hemi engine. The 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT-4 is due out later this year.

Blame a good deal of the Ram SRT10's demise on gas prices. The quad-cab version of the high-performance truck only returned 9 mpg in city driving and 12 mpg on the highway. The regular cab version returned 9 mpg in city driving and 15 on the highway.

Dodge introduced the SRT10 in late 2003 and sold 4,500 of the trucks through 2005. Sales figures for 2006 are unavailable. The truck started at $48,505 but may now see a price spike given its discontinuation.

"At least we hope it does," Bodene said. He wouldn't disclose how many were left on dealer lots.

What this means to you: SRT is in a state of flux. But you can bet it will settle down and hit a couple out of the park this year.
