The actual last RAM SRT-10 is......

Thats why I won't buy the tickets.. me being a Chairman with the American Sand Association, we give away a sand car every year that is entirely donated to us. All the money we get goes back into:

Legal Fund, Science, Studies, etc.. in order to keep the dunes open to the public...

This years car is a $90,000 DeJong Manx 2 Long Travel.... this thing is totally saaawwweet... has a Mendeola Sequential 5 Speed Tranny - shift like a motorcycle... so you can bang through gears really quick....

Our tickets are only $20, and we offer 12,500 of them... the winner for 2006 only bought one ticket... the day of the show... :)

If you're thinking the Viper Club of America does not invest their $$ in charity or benefit events, take a few moments to actually look into it.

Google is only a few keystrokes away...

#1 OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE

here is the first one, coming off the line in Saltillo Mexico, if i remember correctly "9seconds", a member of the NFFF and this forum received it. he lives in houston. he posted this pic which was framed and presented to him:rock:

ok, I checked their event's list, let's see here:
december: 2 parties on the 2'nd and 17'th
january: holiday party and a beach party... hmmm
february: daytona 500 party
march: a 3 day race between an F16 and a viper (i hope it's a short track) i'm sure there's admission
april: a social aka party and a gokart race
may: party race party race

uhhhhh....let me look at the ad for the raffle... MAYBE it's in there but I missed it no it's not in there
oh WAIT this is cool, if the raffle doesn't get $110,000 they do a 50/50 auction and give the winner 50% of the cash back?? WTF

sorry, if I'm wrong on this you're going to have to do better than 'google it' cuz i did google it and best i can tell, they just want to make some phat cash for their parties and what-not...

please prove me wrong, as i'd like to think they have a little more integrity than i'm currently thinking they do

I don't know.
Everyone loves a good bashing - be it deserved or not!

Well, I'll let a little one out:

We will be holding our annual Holiday Party and Charity Auction on Saturday, December 2nd, 2006. Our charity of choice is once again Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.
...

I'm sure some actual members will chime in shortly too...one of them was telling me I should run my truck with the regional club when they do their annual charity laps at the racetrack.

I was told, flat out, that I would NOT be accepted as a VCA member.

The track holds an open charity laps event, so anyone could hit the track at the same time as them, but not as a VCA member.
I never even considered joining the club.

I was invited to run parade laps in my truck with the Gateway Chapter (St. Louis) of the VCA during the Ram Tough 200 Craftsman Truck race last year. It was a blast. Video below. They offered to let me join as an associate member but not as a full fledge member without owning a Viper. Not sure about charity events though, I didn't ask about it. :dontknow:

Yeah, but directly above that note about the 5.7 it says "8.3L" and "6-speed manual".

So much for "intel". :)

Perhaps the person entering the information was looking at several lists at once. That all is quite a huge goof up... The picture isn't even correct.

I'm sure I'd still lose my shirt tho...

free advice for you;) get gap insurance... (if you owe more than it's worth) or get it insured for what you have invested in it ... I do that with all my vehicles... it's thankfully only paid off once

Last SRT10

I wonder if someone here can give me some information. My local dealership has offered me a 2006 QC and they state the following: We have a new (JS Status, to be built shortly)This should be one of, if not the last SRT-10 Quad cabs to be built by Dodge from what I have been told.
I thought,by the information in this thread, all the SRT10's were built already and were awaiting shipping! are these guys giving me a line.

Last one because Black is the slowest color...comon fellas...starting to wonder about ya  :D

Red was first off the line = first place = fastest
black last off the line= last place = slowest

thanks for the update but we all already knew black was the slowest :)

Talk about a racket for the insurance companys. Get insurance to cover the fact your insurance does not cover your vehicle. They sell insurance that doesn't cover your vehicle, then they want to sell you another policy to cover the first useless policy. What a racket.

Bill.

has anyone actually bought a $100 raffle ticket to hopefully win this truck?

I am thinking of gettin one, wht the hell, a chance in 2750?:D
