Captured here on film, are pictures of the first, and possibly only, pick up, impromptu SRT-10 GTG. And it took place under the Highway overpass!!!

Remind's me of a deployment to Punta Gorda, after Hurricane Charley(scheduled to hit here) hit them...

We arrived at 11 pm that evening.... 4 hours behind the storm
I/we were on duty the 24 hour shift before we deployed.... we ran 26 call's that day.... brutal...

We searched grids till sun up.... and after an MRE breakfast.... and swapping teams....watched 63 people drop from exhaustion that morning. Fell asleep anywhere tailgait's, apparatus, sea wall, wherever...for two hours...

Myself ...I found refuge in the bed of a pick-up... on a bedliner....

I was OUT, when the Team Leader got everyone up for more search and rescue... I remember the stripes I had from that liner...I looked like a Texas Sirloin When I got up...grill marks all over...LOL

Thank's for the pic's.... sucked you had to wait it out.... need a deck of card's or a box of pixie sticks and a 1000 count of drinking straws (paper wrapper on of course) ...
