The dumbest SOB in the senate...

You would be surprised how ignorant many of our supposed leaders are. On the State level especially, you would be hard pressed to find many intelligent legislators. It is unbelievable. Most of these people are "out there" to say the least.

Tax incentives to go into business?? My God, I've never paid so many taxes as I have since I've been in business. All voluntarily of course. These are the double speaking, believing their own BS morons we have leading the country.

This is the state of government today. As it is with the state of our legal system. It is a state in which two completely antithetical (opposite) statements can simultaneously be construed as true......

Harry Reed and his ilk have been given birth by this phenomenon.

Lawyers and politicians have become so incorporated by marriage and inbreeding that they are now one of a kind. This is how we've arrived at the place where the unbelievable is not only believable but commonplace and where it all depends on what your definition of "is" is.

As I have said before, What do you expect when people are allowed to vote when the only qualification is age and the ability to produce carbon dioxide.:dontknow:

The entire premise of this video is way off base.... Do we all pay taxes, hell yes we do. Are our taxes put toward one thing, hell no...

I pay taxes for education, do my children consume tax dollars from the state or local education systems?? Hell no. You can not pick and choose where your dollars go, that is the way it is. We pay taxes because there are a lot of social and non-social programs we pay for. I paid taxes in the 2005 year that combated stem cell research for Parkinson's.... No I didn't....

We pay taxes because we pay taxes to allow the government to do the things they do. You may not agree with the things they do with your entire tax dollars, but you also agree with some of the other things they do with them...

This video was rubbish. Plain and simple.

Jeff, that is just it, in our Constitutional Republic the government is not supposed to be engaged in Socialist spending of tax dollars.

IMO the focus of the video was whether or not taxes are voluntary or not. He kept saying that paying taxes was completely voluntary. Sure they are. But if you don't pay them then the Government puts you in jail and confiscates everything you own. How is that voluntary? Sounds like they are using the threat of force to me.

And again I say, I think you are correct...only people with seven or more years of education beyond high school should be allowed to vote.

(Where is that tongue in cheek smiley???)

Again you are mixing your facts with your opinions...your statement is the supreme example of propaganda...the managing of words to make your point without any attention to correctness...

The correct way to express your thought (the ethically correct way): As the President said in his press conference: "It started with the sub-prime mortgage mess...".

And in my opinion that mess was caused by the Democrats.

I will get your messages squared away in time John, it is just going to take a little time.

Gentlemen, the solution is in local politics. Income taxes are voluntary if all of our elected legislators decide that we do not have to pay them. It is in the hands of congress. If you do not want to pay federal or local taxes, elect someone who runs on the promise that those taxes will be eliminated.

If that is the will of the people it will happen.

The reality is that we all agree that taxes are necessary and that we are willing to pay. The problem is in the detail. How much are we willing to pay and for what?

Again involvement in local politics is the way to get your way. And if enough people agree with your position that will be the way we evolve.

Its easy to bitch, much harder to decide to do anything about it, myself included in that last phrase.

The problem we have was predicted a couple thousand years ago.

When people can vote to take away wealth from the ones who earned it, that society is headed for ruin.
