Posted last week in in the dyno section and have had time to go through old threads which has got me thinking. My truck 05 Q/C Paxton, rear cat delete and magna flow. DC performance worked over my ecm as well as the Paxton fmu because it was programed for a R/C. As instructed at the dyno I put it in tow haul and tried to hold it in 3rd but it shifted out at 5300. This was being recorded which I will post latter. All people that were there said as soon as I nailed it at about 3000rpm the tires were smoking on the wheel untill it shifted out. The dyno guy said it was imposible but the camera says it did. So I made 470 rear wheel hp and 500 lb torq, AF in11s @WOT, fuel pres. @wot 100psi, boost said 4 maybe 5lb thought maybe bypass valve was messed up but it checks out fine. After the dyno when driving home I made some WOT pulls on the freeway and was showing a strong 5psi.
So I feel the HP is low and looking for possible issues. I asked the dyno guy if the HP was corrected for our 2300ft altitude he looked at me with a blank look and no real answer. Any thoughts?

My dyno guy put in Tow/Haul as advised, but he actually gradually took it to 60 mph and then floored it. If not, lke you said, it would downshift. 440hp N/A

I believe it is the rev limiter or speed limiter. The rev limit is usually programmed for around 5250 stock!! I think the shift limit or speed limit is 5200. IN other words your rev limit was probably bumped up to the 6000 range but the tranyy is still shifting at a predetermined setting the the ECM. I have heard that the 48re is not electric or something but I would say there is something there cause mine did the same on the dyno and put down 423 stock! I know for a fact that the torque converter lockup is computer controlled. I have seen just tuned QCs in person do 470.:dontknow:
You aren't using an SCT and maybe have flashed it back to stock, huh?
