OK after getting upset, tired , mad and ready to pull my hair out. I calmed down and went to work. I tried all the swivels and never got any where on that back bolt. So I took a 11 mm wrench and grinded down the rond end so the sides of the wrench was not so thick, then I put the wrench in a vice and bent it and it worked on all the bolts like a charm. I got finished at 10:30 last night with my new msd plug wires installed. the truck seems to be running good so I guess I did not mess up. I still have to drill out the wire holders to secure the wires. I am doing that today.

Thankyou for putting up with me yesterday, and all youre helpful hints and encourgement

hell yeah baby thats what the 4.99 bin at the parts store is for

I get all my "disposable" tools from HarborFreight.

Everything else is Craftsman.

after I bent the wrench 4 hours,,,,,before around 7 fighting with one bolt...I believe next time I could do it in 2

I'm glad your congressman signed off on this project!!!

Good job man!

I think I will just wait until I pull the engine to upgrade the internals. Good job man...that is the way to improvise. I have about a half dozen ground down twisted up, and welded "special tools". :D

Sorry to hear about your frustration, but I would like to mention one thing to ensure you don't become more frustrated next time.

Whenever you do something like that, stuff rags into the intake ports so nothing, including dirt goes down into the cylinder.

just wanted the upgrade. the 8.5 is pretty red and by the size compared to stock they have to be better
