2007 Pheasant hunting in South Dakota.....it was great hunting.....good weather....lot's of walking really needed to get my ass in shape for this hunt next year.....just got back the legs are sore but we did have a good time.

looks like a awesome time. im good friends with a guy from winner,sd that hunts up there every year. ive always wanted to go. be like shooting a big chicken with a afterburner....lol
I am no longer a hunter...but your pictures bring huge wonderful memories flooding back into my mind...pheasants, doves, deer, javilena, quail...
I miss those days, I miss the people with whom I spent those days.

Well I am not a hunter per say....I have gone hunting 1 time...Very long story and funny as Hell....Long story short is I was talked into going with my ex father in law...Yepper thought he was gonna whack me LOLOLOL 
But Having never hunted before I went in shorts and a tank top and my 9mm I will never ever do that again...trust me Does everything in the woods have stickers on it My Lord almighty I got jacked up bad..hehehehe I quit about 4 hours in and went back to the camp site to lick my bleeding wounds a defeated city boy However...........I was also very lucky to have a bif Bucj stroll through our camp site when I was laying in the back of a Pick up I 10 ringed that Bastage and I was the only one who got a Deer that day....Yep with a 9mm Ruger P-89DC They all came back to camp just as I was dragging that heavy assed deer back into the camp.....I did not know what else to do Yeah they got a big laugh about it....But we all ate pretty good The head was not in any shape to be mounted LOLOL I emptied the clip into it

Walt, we hunt every year in Gregory. That is a great area to pheasant hunt! Looks like ya'll had a blast!
Oh and Dallas.... what can I really say about that place... well not a whole lot in the non-offensive forum For sure the best bar in the eastern 1/2 of SD.
