Looks like a new player in town. According to Motor Trend mag, the new Toyota Tundra with the 5.7 rips off 0-60 in under 6 sec. Also mentioned was TRD is working on a dealer installed supercharger to raise the current 381 hp by 30%. That's 495 hp according to my kookilator.:burnout:

I don't have a problem with toyota.. But i would like to see American muscle
Stay American muscle... :)

new player?

On the toyota website They tested the truck and it did 0 to 60 in 6.1 seconds. Still there is no Competition Compared to our ram srt 10's.
I'm Not even worried

Took a look at one today while driving around in the GF's Jeep. They are different looking and look better from a distance. Very pricey. The intriguing thing about the article From Motor Trend was the optional dealer installed supercharger to boost horse power to 495. That would give a stock SRT some competition. Oh by the way, I wouldn't trade my truck for one.

As of a a couple of years or so ago the Tundra was the only truck sold in the US that is 100% made in the US. I'm not positive if that is still true or not. Does that qulaifiy it to be called American Muscle? I don't know. :dontknow:

Our trucks were assembled in Mexico with parts from all over the place. So, technically speaking, are we driving Mexican Muscle? Would it be more accurate now to call it North American Muscle? ;)

Toyota trucks are made in america, can't say that about the dodge.
