My first love has long been this 1997 Volvo 850 R Sport Wagon, the sleeper of all sleepers. I was the original owner, it has nearly 150,000 miles and has never had a major problem. On the Volvo forums it is referred to as "Prof's Brick".

I have flashed the ECM, added a 3 inch IPD Sport Exhuast and Downtube. It has Bilstein shocks and struts all around with M&H lowering springs. I have changed the stock Pirelli P Zero's for GoodYear F1's.

It dynos just over 300 hp at the "front" wheels on five cylinders that are inter-cooled and turbo charged.

This is a "station wagon" that presents real problems for the WRX and EVO crowd...  :D and there are some Mustang GT's that have limped into parking lots asking "what the hell does that thing have in it? It turns quarters in the mid-13's.

Next is a new T18 turbo, and reversed inter-cooling and probably water/meth to bring the intake temps down as low as possible, and some bling for the engine compartment...I also want to bring the rear end down another inch...but will have to cut the springs to do that.

I love this car...let's see your other rides....

That is badd A$$. My first driver was a 72 Volvo wagon. At the time I hated it but would love to have it today. I do not even take pictures of my 1994 Cutlass Supreme SL 4dr. It is just a driver, but not for long.........

Well, Roy.... You KNEW I would chime-in on this one. :D ;)

I've told you before, and I'll tell you again.... I think the 850R was the best Volvo ever built. Fast, well appointed, and TIMELESS. And, strangely, I liked the wagons better than the sedans. :dontknow: :) Great looking car, my Friend.... It's even in the "right" color combo. ;)

Most of you have seen my other toy.... But, I never miss an opportunity to show-off. :D So here she is.

1967 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Triple Black, 327ci/4-speed. Mildly restored w/ a few "driver" upgrades (Edelbrock 650cfm carb, SPAL Electric fan, mild cam, Optima Red Top battery, 17" American Racing Torque-Thrust II Wheels, "Chambered" exhaust).

You want to get more looks and complements than driving a Ferrari?..... Get one of these. :) :burnout:

The guy that owned that car came over and complemented me on mine at the last Eckler's show. :)

He put a TON of work into that car, and still said it rode and handled like shit. :dontknow: :( It sounded EVIL tho!  :D Nothin' like 620HP.... ALL MOTOR!

makes sense to me!!!:D

My dream truck is in my sig, my dream car is in my avatar. When I was 16 I promised myself I would buy a Viper for my 30th birthday. Well this November I will be 30, and trying to keep the dream alive, I'm on the lookout for a 96 GTS Blue w/ White stripes...This is the most appealing car ever made. Love muscle cars, love Lambo's, Love to have a 65 continental drop-top w/ suicide doors. But they are all a distant second to a 96 GTS BW/WS

I'd still love to get a GTS, but I've really, really, warmed up to the look of the new Coupe. To me, it looks waaay better than the SRT Verts.

I like the new coupes as well, never been a vert guy myself. I may do a black GTS with or woth out stripes, dark tint, with black out rims...scary w/ a TT.

if you want to see a looooonnnnnngggg strip of rubber, check the end of this thread...I'd say somewhere around 400'

Here are a few that have been special to me.
Beautiful stable of cars Walt. I'm jealous. I've already discussed my other ride in another thread and been totally humiliated. So here's a pic of my other Dodge. It's just a little more masculine than the Buick.:D
