the perfect bolt on HP truck mods?

Best mod for the money is not a bolt on...... It's a torch off..........lose the cats....

Heh heh....I told Dave, "I'm a complete moron. I mean, I can't even spell HBO. Could I do the TSTM installation?"
Reply: "Yes."

I am a SLIGHTLY above average joe and I did the Kenne Bell blower on my 99 Ram.Took a lot longer than a good mechanic would, but it worked perfectly.I can't imagine the Top mount to be any more difficult and actually expect it to be less so.

Well... I know this isn't a typical bolt on mod but I would think that the best "seat of the pants" mod that you could do would be the rear end gears. Probably a cheap option as could be compared to other mods with equal "seat of the pants" mods...

There has been alot of discussion about N/A hp trucks .

and most people want just a good ol fashion bolt on, one they can do quick and at home.

So with this lets create a list of mods that will give the most bang for the buck.

Also lets post up where the best price you can obtain these mods.

now we know we have great vendors, but lets mention them if we only have prices.

THAT is what most are concerned with, the best deal possible.

so here is the start of the list add on fellas.

just remember we are talking bolt on driveway mods with simple tools the average Joe or joenette:D can do.

1. Drop in air filter
(seems as tho all CAI's give same performance gain)
2. Long tube headers
(best hp)
3. short tube headers
(decent hp for $)
4. Catless or hi flow mids
5. Magnaflow cat back
6. computer flash
7. shifter for the 6 spds

Anything else?

And post where to buy but include prices:D

vendors are urged to post:D
after a million dyno runs, one thing always pokes thru the rest with the biggest gains-our catless mid pipes, then our computer flash.
with our offroad mids $410, magnaflowcatback $468, bassani headers$999 and a X-metal program $430 in the computer,
we see 530ftlbs of torque, and 480+hp, all on 93 octane gas. we could tune for more, but this is a gas station friendly setup that is a great dailey driver.

a 150 shot of NOS on an otherwise 100% stock truck would be in my opinion the highest HP mod for the $. (not the best mod necessarilly though)

Sure it is.

I have searched all over Roe website and see no top mount. Does anybody have any pics of it and the install process? Or a link...... Also does it have the same whine to it like the L sc have

I would LOVE to do that to my truck...

How does all of that effect emissions testing and what is left of my warrantee? I am leaning towards having some gears done... But would also like to do a CAT back if it isn't too much loader than stock (I want it a little louder and deeper tone) and maybe the flash if it doesn't effect the warrantee...
