Take her to some stores and let her tell you which ones she likes. Educate yourself about cut, color and clarity.
Believe it or not Costco has really nice stones for sale at much cheaper prices than the "mall stores"!!! Costco has a nice brochure that talks about how they only sell quality stones. My business partner owns a jewelry store and he told me this. The important thing is to educate yourself and make an informed purchase.

There is a billboard advertising a jewelry store around here. It says "How two months salary can last forever" and it shows a diamond ring. What I find funny about it is most people around here are living paycheck to paycheck.
This might sound funny but look at Costco or Sam's Club. Their diamonds are guaranteed to appraise higher than they sell for.

got a friend in baton rouge,l a thats a wholesaler, my brother has brought two from him , cause his wife lost thew first one...lol but every stone is amazing. he will send you the stone's and let you have them appraised and them you can send it back to him and choose a setting. just a option. a little more hassle but you will have a better stone and it will be cheaper than what you would pay at a retailer with a 200 percent markup. my pops has bought severl from him.

Well since I am batting 1000 (2 marriages, and 2 divorces) I would be more than happy to give some advice. However if you want your relationship to last longer than a year or so, I would recamend you listen to some of our other members that have managed to make it that far. Either way I wish you both all the best.

Devildog......I apologize for not getting back to you in a more timely fashion..Been very preoccupied with trying to help Walt and NBT out I have not posted on anything else in 4-5 days.....So I am here for you now and here is my advice.....Lay down on the ground, pick both legs up over your head and gently stuff your head up your Ass and hide like a Turtle Try and avoid any speed with this manuver...The ear's are the problem when doing this. If done too fast it would lead to rectal tearing and in worse case scenario's permanent whip lash Dude she will get what she wants in the end anyway so fighting it is useless :idea: You only prolong the agony I like doing this myself....But I am weird 3 questions of yourself will answer this...(1) Do you Love her....:dontknow: (2) Can you see yourself growing old with her...... (3) and finally how many push up's can she do Because if she cant handle some good PT every morning....Then self respecting Devil Dogg would even entertain the thought
