I have to tell you.... After 5+ "Dealerships".... My truck has FINALLY been FIXED!!!!!

It was easy, really... All they had to do was LOOK at the issues and diagnose them. :dontknow: CHARLIE'S DODGE in Ft. Pierce,FL did just that.

Mickey, (our own 1qksrt), did the work.. and I can tell you, He did a FANTASTIC JOB! :congrats: My truck has been struggling with a trans problem for some time now. I've taken it to SEVERAL dealers and all they do is hook it up to the OBTII Diag. machine and tell me "it's fine"  :dontknow: :( Mickey was the ONLY one that actually DROVE it around the parking lot and DIAGNOSED the problem! He quickly found it was a solenoid that was bad. It was replaced (under warranty), and fluids and filter + belts were adjusted/replaced.

I had a OIL LEAK as well... Mickey found it was my valve covers. (Mind you, my truck is STOCK)... The bolts had come loose.... :dontknow: He replaced the valve-cover gaskets and re-torqued the bolts, fixing the problem. :congrats:

Lastly, my radio was loosing it's settings.... instead of just replacing the radio, he ACTUALLY diagnosed the issue to find my battery was bad. He replaced the battery and all is well.... :)

If you are within 500 miles of Charlie's Dodge, and need repair (under warranty or not), you NEED to contact MICKEY (1qksrt). he WILL do you right. I have to say, I've owned BMW's (several), Mercedes, Porsche, GM, Ford, and other "Chrysler" brands...... Charlie's Dodge and MICKEY in Ft. Pierce, FL have been BY FAR the BEST customer service experience I've had.   GO HERE, if you need work done!!!!

I wish we had that kind of service here on Maui...............mine been in for an oil leak three times.............they only made it worse! I gave up on em and live with the slight leak.

Any idea of how much a selnoid runs?

I have taken mine into the dealership a couple of times and they can't seem to find the problem.

I am about to have the bands adjusted and the fluid changed, will this be the time to get it replaced (I don't know what is involved in changing it out)?

Thanks,
