Leak down test indicated #3 and 9 cylinders damaged. Boroscope showed delaminating pistons as a result of boost.

Whats planned is

CP Pistons
Manley Rods
Coupe Cam, Springs
Low bleed rate lifters ( yes they do exist! )
Possible 522 stroker kit:D
Full head porting
10 lb pulley with 700 hp goal

Thats it!
 
That sucks Steve, but it could have been alot worse.

Definitely attainable. I would think that 700hp would be the limit without a ported, intercooled intake manifold. I'm giving Sean some more time before I start on my build. I like to time the completion of the new intake with the build.

Yes it is. Im not greedy:D . Engine will b designed to take 1000 HP but will not be put to that limit. My goal is longevity :D

Not really sure who makes them ?:confused: But I can find out. I was told by someone here they dont exist.:confused:
 
Find Another Cam That will work... the comp coupe is on national back order and cost as much as a custom grind now due to not many of them being around anymore
 
steve..a 522 is a waste of engine for a Roe blower, just forge it and save the extra money. if your going TT or paxton and are going to turn up the boost then go 522...the extra cubic ninches helps build boost with the TT or paxton.

Yea thats what i gathered. Was just a fleeting thought. Its nice to dream though:D
