After the p/s pump explosion and a few other "minor" problems(all which have been fixed) it had been a rough first 6 months owning the 10. Ever since I've been kind of babying the 10. I don't think I've gone past a quarter throttle since the new year but once or twice. Last night I was tired of it I wanted to have fun again and it pissed me off I hadn't been driving her like I wanted. So on the way home I decided to take a nice windy back road. I waited to see if anyone was behind me and came to a stop, put her in [N] and revved her up a few times, clicked her back in [D], gripped the wheel, gave her a little brake, brought her up too 2k, let off the brake, stomped her straight to the floor, rear end kicked out, smoked her a little, then she shot off like a rocket. I let out a loud "D**N RIGHT!" and had a "spirited" ride home. Pulled into the drive way, the little lady was outside she smelled brakes, rubber, and saw my smile and no joke looked at me and said "ABOUT TIME!?!?" I needed it, I had been riding in my 10, now I'm back to driving it. Damn I love this truck.

Awesome! I was the same way after my oil filter exploded, then one day I stopped caring and did a huge burnout and floored it a bunch. Havent looked back since :D

Crap, tranny rebuild and 2 blown filters and I still floor the throttle daily. I bought it to drive like it was intended to be driven. When it brakes, I fix it or buy another. Life is just too short to piddle about babying a truck that was made specifically to be drive hard. :D
