So I parked the beast at home and the fam and I take the BMW down to Savannah. Traffic is really light so the drive down is good. The next day we jump on a plane to Pensacola. Airtran bumps us to 1st class cause I'm on AD. Rental car company takes for ever to pick us up at the airport. In turn they give us a free upgrade and 50% off our bill. We then start searching for a house. Find one that the builder is offering to pay all the closing costs and the first 6 months of P&I for the next 6 buyers. We were buyer #1. My drive to work goes from 45 miles a day to 6 with the new house. Make our way home and find out that the IPO for Vonage dropped. So, upset that I lost some cash, only to find out there was not enough shares allocated so I didn't actually buy any. No money lost. Now I just need to sell my house in Va. Once I do that, things will be SaWeet. I'm still in Savannah and should be rolling out tomorrow. Thanks for the welcome Mike and Denise.

While yer in Savannah, check out the Lady Chablis. She is a real life entertainer and bon vivant who was made famous by appearing in a cameo role in the Clint Eastwood film, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"............

The "Grand Empress of Savannah" (as she is called locally) is one of the most outrageous entertainers you'll ever see. This is not fare for the kiddies, born again conservative Christians, Mormons or JWs....... as the Lady Chablis is actually a female impersonator.

Using such memorable colloquiallisms as "Hey bitch...!" (her stage entrance opener) and other such invectives as ...."yer gonna have to deal with The Lady, the doll, the Grand Empress and my muthafuckin' ice pick", this show has something that is sure to offend everyone...... maybe even Redd Foxx himself.
