thermostat housing

ok dumb question but were is the thermostat housing at ,,,i see an alumminum housing at the block on the end of the top radiator hose,, but it looks to large to be a thermostat housing ,i also bought the gasket and it looks too small to go on housing ,,,but thats just looking at it,,,anyone have any pics of the housing and thermo ,,,did a search but did not find anything good

yep,just follow the hose, the gasket is an "o" ring.

ok after all afternoon cussing that bottom left hand bolt on thermostat housing i finally got it off and every thing back together ,,,wish they could make that harder to do ,,,i only got 7 or 8 cuts on my hand trying to get it off:burnout:

I believe he means there is no freakin way he is going to mess with the thermostat housing if it is a biatch to work on and the housing can crack if not done correctly - cause it ain't his cup of tea -- Annu, correct me if I am mistaken

I didn't think it was that hard to do either!

Just remember to make sure that the old gasket is not still attached to the cover when you try to put it back on!
