Thinking about painting some stuff in the engine...

So, is there anything wrong with painting those ugly fluid containers? They really bother me more than anything else on the truck and I thought I'd paint them (with proper prep & paint of course) It should be fine shouldn't it?

I don't know of a reason you shouldn't paint them. You might think about leaving a window so you can see the fluid levels though...

Replace them with billet aluminum containors

toss the wipers and the washer solvent for starters.........then a billet overflow

I took my washer jug off completly since I dont have wipers.

and replaced the overflow jug with a billet one from Jegs for less than $100 , but you can get red or black I do thinky thinky

Well, I drive rain or shine but I've maybe used the washer fluid once maybe twice in the 22K miles I've driven it... have to ponder taking it off or not, but I'm gonna try to find that Jegs billet jug you mentioned.
