Next week i am on vaca:D  I will be installing my headers, T-body, and others. I was thinking that maybe its time to change the trans fluid and plugs. Does it need it? 04 with 24k miles never done. And what kind would you recommend.

Thanks,
Bryan

lot of us dropping the fluid and putting ATF back in..i put MOBIL ONE back in mine. i'm still on stock plugs (9,000 miles on the truck)

If you change your plugs get ready to change your wires also. The stock wires are hard to get off, and you will most likely ruin a couple. Also the intake manifold has to come off to change wires. Be careful. As far as what kind of plugs. I would just use the stock type plugs.

Did my trans at 15k. I used the recommended fluid from Mopar. Did the rear at the same time, but used Royal Purple back there. Oh, and i added a bottle of the friction modifier, also from the dealer to the trans fluid. Its cheap (like 7 bucks) and i've had no issues.

ok this is first time i heard of only using same brand of spark plugs ,,

if you are doing your headers and remove inner fender wells to do headers it is a breeze to do plugs after you get stock manifolds off and out of the way,,i used a good pair of needle nose pliers and plug wires all came off easy ,

and i hear some complain about more tranny noise after putting atf in it ,,,is this true????????

I'm running Amsoil synthetic ATF in mine. Maybe a little noise, but not real noticeable.
