This was an accident that happend about a mile from my home on sunday morning. The wife is a distant relative of mine. Most of her family is from my hometown. This whole deal has made me stop and think about life the last few days It can all end in a split second so please tell your loved ones that you do love them This family needs all the prayers they can get especially the husband and wife for a speedy recovery. I believe they are going to hold off the funeral for the children as long as they can so at least elizabeth the wife can attend.I am not sure that it will be that way for the husband I have heard he's no doing so well

Kyle, when i saw it on tv the other day ,man it broke my heart for the Rose family .I have personaly driven that same road since i was 15 years old, i have seen the same rigs / gas rigs that is /drive way over the speed limit. it was just a matter of time when this very sad thing would happen. the bible says ( absent from the body is prences with the lord.) I pray that Gods hand is on them this very second.

Oh my God.................that poor family. I cannot begin to imagine the loss those parents are feeling. I hope they have other family members close by to help them get through this trajedy.

This is an official statement from the family of Elizabeth and Steve Rose (Jimmie and Sharen Crockett from Rose Bud and Nellie and John Rose from Charlotte) sent by a loving family member or friend. 12/19/07



Thank you so much for your love and prayers during this most tragic time in our lives. We cannot begin to express to each and every one how much your love means to us. We want to get everyone an update on Elizabeth and Steve to try to stop the rumors that keep circulating.



ELIZABETH had surgery on her arm yesterday (12/18) and is doing better today. She is sitting up and talking to everyone and is very sore. She is still in White County Medical Center and will be for a few more days.



STEVE will have some reconstructive surgery today on his face but continues to do well. He is on a ventilator for precautionary methods so that they can keep him completely still until they do the surgery. He is in St. Vincents in Little Rock.



MEMORIAL FUNDS ESTABLISHED

We are touched and honored that we have had so many requests to help during our tragedy. We can definitely feel your love as the prayers are wrapped around us. At this time, we feel that the best way to remember Tanner and Brooklyn is to establish a memorial fund so that Steve and Elizabeth can create an endowment in their memory and in the future fund a baseball camp or donate books to a library or establish a scholarship in memory of each child. We would like for Steve and Elizabeth to be able to determine the cause at a later time.
