This is how you SHRED an engine block!

Shredders are kick-ass machines... A company that I do some work for just ordered a new one. They had to ship it in from Germany and it cost over $5MILLION! And that's not even putting it together when it gets here! :eek:

Pretty wild though.... It will take a whole refrigerator, shred it (in a sealed environment), separate all the oils and refrigerants (freon, R-114, etc), then separate all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals away from the cfc's (foam and plastic).... Then it will incinerate the cfc's to make them (uhhh...) not "cfc's" anymore. :dontknow: :eek: ALL IN ONE MACHINE, AUTOMATICALLY! :rock: All that spits out the back is pelleted plastic, ferrous metal, and non-ferrous metal. ... All sorted and ready to be shipped as raw materials. The refrigerants are contained for recycling. It's pretty cool stuff. :D
