I checked the prices for a regular cab, short box (non-SRT) Dodge '06 1500 on the same site and thet were the same as the SRT.
 
The reason is listed on the website. 9mpg to 15 mpgs... I put 10k down on my 22,000 titan a year ago and I am still upside down... trucks are not worth shit anymore.

I think even though it says it is referring to an SRT 10 it clearly cant be.
 
You cant take anything at face value... There will always be someone out there that doesnt give a rats ass what gas prices are.

Ya... those prices at automotive are wack. I went to Carmax to see what they would give me for mine. 16,000. Aaaaaaaaaand I'm still driving it now.
