By comparison to some other car forums this one stacks up bar-non. My wife and her sister both have Mazda's. So, from time to time I go to those forums fore info.

Long story short my sister in-law has a 2007 Mazda CX-7 (2.3L Turbo 4 banger). First off she thought she had a V6 Turbo, liked the extra power (uggh). Well she blew up the turbo. How? Changed the oil once in 30,000 miles. Nice!!!

Dealer said no thanks on the warranty. So me and my brother in-law offered to change out the Turbo if she decided to keep the car. Went to a Mazda forum and was asking around to see how hard it was to swap out the turbo. ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!!!!! Was told, look for a used engine and another guy directed me to another site. WTF????

I eventually found a shop manual for a MazdaSpeed3 (same motor). Not hard to swap the turbo.

Point of the story that here everybody has something useful to say and lends a hand. Just figured I would point out that this really is a great site and other have much to be desired. Glad to be part of the group, thanks.

I'd betcha there's someone here who could have answered your question on the Mazda. Bunch of smart folks here who know more than just trucks.

Umm, you're scaring me!! :D :D

Just found out they got rid of the Mazda and bought a new car to abuse, or uhh, I mean, drive. A RAV4. Just not my cup of tea.

I was going to ask here first but I figured I would try a Mazda site for a Mazda question. What was I thinking???

30,000 for the first oil change wtf.................... Geeeeez that's bad haha why even change it.......I would of just burned the truck and let insurance buy you a whole new truck :)
