This Should Leave Your Brain In A Knot- Part 2!

You must be kidding. :D :D :D :p :p

The idea is that the speed of the plane is to be MATCHED by the conveyor and not allow it to overtake it. The faster the plane tries to go, the conveyor matches its speed. That was not happening on the clip at all. The planes speed overcame the conveyor speed.

Prop air generated over the wings is not sufficient to generate enough lift. The plane must be moving.

Its the same as the ball being shot out of the gun moving in the opposite direction. If a car is going west @ 60mph and you shoot a ball out of the back of the car facing east. The ball just drops. Been proven.
Hahaha lol. You better go back to school. YOUR WRONG!!! The speed of the wheels have NOTHING to do with it. lol

Scott, please think about what you are saying.

The belt is moving east at 50 mph, the plane is moving west at 50 mph (relative to the ground!) the wheels are turning effectively at 150 mph at lift-off.

Once again, the engine's job is not to produce lift, but to produce thrust. The wheels have nothing to do with the forward speed of the aircraft.

The speed of the plane was matched by the conveyor. The conveyor was moving at 25 mph to the left. The takeoff speed of the airplane is 25 mph to the right. Keep in mind the wheels are not powered. They are free spinning. So as the plane appoaches takeoff speed (25 mph) if you were to take a speed measurment at the wheels, it would be 50 mph. The engine and prop, jet engine, rubber band, whatever you want is still capable of achieving forward motion and therefore create lift.

I'm really surprised at your inability to think this out. Your dream is to be a space man. So you should know more about thrust. Its how you get around in your trekky make believe world you live in.:D

Thats what I have Scotty for... ;)

And if it were such an easy concept, it would not be getting the controversy it does.
