I know this Jake...but he was arguing the difference between a Republic and a Democracy....in my eyes, those two things are similar these days. So I was proving a point about Greece...maybe I should have been more specific. Greece has Communist parties that are actually elected into office.

I was referring to your having been taught that the US is a democracy, not you personally because one has no control over what they are taught.
That is the problem with this form of communication as Roy points out on a regular basis.
