Those with Back problems

ok well breif history. I have had 1 surgery already to repair two severely herniated discs in my lower back particularly the L-4 S-5 region or somethin like that. Well its been exactly two years now and I am still in pain. My latest MRI shows that I have Degenerative Disc Disease, meaning that the discs never fully regenerated and what little did id herniated again. Also My nerves particularly the Sciatic (*SP*) one is being pinched causing severe pain in my left side that radiates down into my leg causing sharp pain numbness and tingling. The Docs are also seeing a formation or growth on my spine that may have to be removed.

Has anyone else had these sort of problems before. I have tried every remedy and medication form Some of the best Pharmacutical drugs to electroshock therapy. I have to use a cane now to walk to alleviate some of the pain. What kind of treatments has anyone had. Just tryin to get an idea of whats in store for me. Im only 22 yrs old and coming up on my second back surgery doesnt really sit to well with me
I am in the same boat almost to a T. I have had a Double Level Fusion. Three operations, 6 screws, 2 rods, 4 cages. I am still in pain also. I am having a MRI on Friday to see if anything has happened. My right leg hurts like hell these days. I still take Norco also. This is one of the reason I sold my mustang. I am 28 BTW. Our old age will suck. BTW:dontknow:

I too wake up everyday to back pain.............no serious damage that I can tell, I just cant do certain positions for long anymore.........the muscles just cramp up...........once in a while I get a little tingleing down the right hand but not often to worry me. I attribute it to 20 years of my job and being 6.2 tall.

Good luck to you dude...........

I for years could not sleep all night long nor could I work because of back and joint pain. I own an a/c business and for years worked in the field. [Try caring a 100lb compressor on your shoulder up an extension ladder].
My business partner introduced me to a product. It changed my life! Its fun to work and work out again.
If you want to know more email me. [email protected]
I was considering shoulder surgery...not anymore.

I just had shoulder surgery...type 4 slap tear/repair...anchors...ect... it sucked....and still is a PITA sleeping.

I slipped a disk when I was 15. Grew too fast, muscles did not have a chance to catch up with the bones, I was playing soccer and twisted the wrong way.

I git very luck and ended up with an old orthopedic surgeon who did not belive in operating on kids. I spent 6 weeks on the floor on my back in a Flexaril & Vicodin haze. He gave me a bunch of exercises and strength training to do and I have not had a problem since.
