Thoughts and Prayers for Eddie and Dawn

I just found this thread, wow I am shocked. Eddie and Dawn are two outstanding people, and I feel very lucky to call them my friends.

guys and gals, i want to thank you. we laid dawn's brother to rest today and although it was one of the hardest things i've ever seen her mom and dad go through i know they will make it through this. we been sitting around tonight talking about the good times we have had together through the years and just being thankful for the time we have had together. is it a tough time. hell yeah but we are here and things could be a whole lot worse. we had a friend come by that we havent seen in a long time that we camped and hunted with for years that spent about 5 hours with us. we've been laughing and crying and just enjoying each others company. i guess what i'm trying to say is cherish every moment with your friends and family. you never know when it will be the last time you will have the chance. to all the people here that i consider it a honor to call my friends i thank you for your prayers and thoughts. we may not get over this but we will get through it and it will make us stronger. thanks again from mine and dawn's heart

I'll be in Knoxville starting Friday afternoon, cell phone is on. Stay strong for the family and be the shoulder they need bro.

thanks guys we got home late last night. yesterday was a good day for dawn and her family. they are going to make it through this. family and friends help out a lot. we appreciate all the prayers and thoughts. it was a great loss to our family but we will get through this. Mark wouldnt want us to let this get us down. thanks again guys. words cannot express the gratitude.
 
a death is allways a hard thing to deal with, most deal with the saddness and it can last forever sometimes.

I as you Eddie prefer to remember the good times, the times ya'll went hunting together and laughed together, the times the family had together.

The good times can sometimes override the sadness.

My prayers have been with you all week friend, I jsut couldnt find the right words to actually post.
 
I really havent been able to reply to anyone, but each day gets better, I want to say Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and phone calls. Its family and friends that help get you thru tough times. My family and I are very fortunate to have so many people out there helping us, we are truely blessed. We have been able to remain positive and to just say thanks for the 44 years we had with Mark. THANKS to all of you again. Dawn
 
Dawn, We all love you and just put up with Eddie, we know who the boss is!!
I heard you just got an early Valentine gift, was he as purdy as you remember?? :rock: :rock:
