For those following, my 05 RC with 6k miles was damaged before delivery.....dealer is now offering trade with about $3k out of my pocket for an 06 Night Runner QC....new truck, no miles, but now it's an auto and a quad cab....basically paying the same dollars I did for my 05 RC about 5 months ago....

Any thoughts??? Appreciate any feedback....

Jason

Well, you will be faster now! It's about a 5-6K upgrade for a QC so you may want to consider it. However, I would definitely get what you want to drive first! Feel good about sitting in your truck! :D No compromise.

I agree with Bone...It's kind of nice being able to go fast with both hands on the wheel and plus you can fit a few extra hotties in it too!!! :D

I don't know if you care about collectibility, but the 06 Night Runner will be one of the rarest of the various edition SRT10s. I don't think it will hold its value any better than the rest of them for the next few years, especially if you're going to drive it a lot, but if you're buying it to hold for a long time it may offer you a better selling price than most others in the future.

i agree you have to be happy with it,take your time then go for it. :D

I wish it had a stick, but I also miss having a quad cab and more room for the honeys....although, looks like the mileage might go down....I dunno, seems like a decent deal....

I know what you mean, but a Night Runner would look kick ass with Boomers lowering kit and sound good with a magnaflow ;-)

What, OCs are for we.... Just kidding. Don't flame me, I am just starting trouble.:D

Bill.

go with your Gut, its never wrong. get what excites 3 of your 5 sense the most, looks, sound, and feel. get what you REALLY want.

Dont rush into anything and always remember right after u get what u want u will find something better one way or the other and then ull say to urself dammit why didnt i see this before? so get what u think is worth it.

I played the "limited production" game with my '01 Viper GTS. only 86 were made. After watching Berrett-Jackson I couldnt decide to drive it, mod it, nod mod it, etc. Kept thinking about what it would be worth down the road with limited mileage. Drove me crazy so I got rid of it.

Like others have said, go with your gut. Whats more fun, a stick and 2 doors or an auto with 4 doors? I like the night runner but would need it to be a stick. Much more fun road racing and more challenging at the strip with a stick.

its an upgrade from the 05 to 06 and its the night runner. I say go for it, however if u love what u have then stick with it.

Honestly, that's not a bad trade at all..... an 06 Night Runner would be completely badass.... send it to Boomer for a Paxton....

Thanks for all the advice and help....

IT'S DONE!!!!!!

I now have an 06 QC Night Runner with a sunroof!

From an RC to a QC.....next I might do something crazy like taking off the wing :D

Thanks to all of you, good family here....
