Bringing the car in for service tomorrow for some nits. Ever since I got it brand new when you press the gas (regular driving, not stomping) the throttle body makes almost a clanking noise.

Is that standard? Does anyone else hear their throttle body?

Is the throttle cable routed properly? It goes up and over the little dohickey sticking out off the top part of the throttle mechanism. Sorry I'm not doing any better with the description. I tried to find a picture but couldn't. That's the only reason I could think of that would cause a noise.

It almost sounds like the throttle body blades clank. That is the best way I can describe it.

what kind of car ya got????
