Just wondering if anyone here has ever gotten a ported throttle body from "the fastman". If so how did you like it? I have had throttle body's from him before and was extremely pleased with the look and function but haven't heard if anyone here has ever gotten one for these trucks from him.

Can't say I have heard of anyone using one either. For the price of an aftermarket one, such as BBK or JTSVP, and the ability to sell your stock one, I'd go that route.

Sorry if I sound dumb but what route are you suggesting?

Purchase a BBK or JTSVP and sell your stock one.

Ok thanks Andy. When I get ready to sell my stock one, what is a good asking price?

Ralph has his advertised for $125 right now, which is about the going rate.

I'd hang on to the OEM TB just in case

Spare parts are hard to come by when you need them.... now!

You might need to plan ahead

Seems there always sold out with the next batch on the bench waiting to be CNC'd

Website states there is a 3-4 week wait time. So plan ahead as Jeff said.

Actually to be honest, a lot of the specialty stuff (regardless of vendor) won't have a bunch laying around on shelves somewhere. If your thinking about something that is expensive, takes CNC work, etc....., see if you can get a group buy going. They could be cheaper (only a possibility not a guarantee) that way and runs (sometimes) happen faster when they are already promised (or presold kind of thing)

Just make sure the group buy is with a vendor. ;)

I had great luck with my ROE Racing TB...............
