Throw together stereo

Ok I am working on a project and I need some electronics input. We are converting an old 1970 cube van into a dirt bike hauler for our little weekend trips. I need to rig a stereo up in the back of this thing. So far what I have is my 6 infinity speakers out of my srt 10. I am going to buy the cheapest deck I can find but what I need to know is when I go and look for an amp to run these speakers what should I look for? Or should/can I run it off of a shitty deck?

This is all going to be pretty red neck so throw all your ideas at me. I may be an Electrician by trade but car audio is now where near my specialty.

6speakers? a 6 channel amp. radio can be anything if you get an amp, also amp can be a cheepy.
watch your ohms.

I figure I won't use the tweeters so I will just grab a deck and see how it sounds.
