Hello fellow 10 owners. I started throwing this code P3231 along with a CEL about a month ago. When I scanned it, my scanner told me nothing about it. So I figured it was BS and cleared it. I had no CEL, until last night when it came back on. I cleared it, and the CEL want off again. Now today, drove the truck about 10 miles and it came back on, but when I went to clear it, it would just keep coming right back on. It's weird... I just wish my scanner would tell me what it is! Does anyone know what that code is and what it means? Thanks for any help

Control Module Monitoring Error Response Plausibility

Possible Causes:

Battery terminal corrosion, loose battery connection, or faulty

Connection to the DME interrupted, or the circuit has been opened

Reprogramming error has occurred

and needs replacement.

Voltage supply for Engine Control Module (DME) is faulty

That's a friggen odd one. My guess is that you have an internal module failure.

Check all connections, check for ignition arcing, and then clear. If good to go and code comes back... module time.

Man... there has been a run on QC modules lately, I am almost out of the damn QC's again!

FinalGTS, do you have any '05 RC modules, or can you repair modules?
I still need to replace mine.

Yes and Yes, but you have to contact me in another manner, I do not sponsor this forum.
