Ticking Noise

Im new here, i have a 2005 black QC with 91xxx. When i start the truck cold there is no ticking noise but once the truck warms up there is a ticking noise coming from the motor. If i give it gas the ticking gets louder and has a faster beat. Is this normal motor noise or a lifter?

Sounds normal....hydro lifters are noisy at idle and lower rpms..

once i get into higher rpm's the ticking seem to go away. i just noticed it outta the blue. Thanks for the help

a heavier weight oil will quiet it down....i use 15/50 year round, but i'm in texas.

I live in AZ and now that its warming up my trucks engine is very loud. I freaked the first time i head one warmed up. But after hearing a few more that sounded the same i realized it was the nature on the beast.

Yep if you dont hear a mariachi band under there something is wrong!!!
