TIME FOR A NEW RIDE??

if you like it get it. Go on the net do a bunch of searches and maybe see if there is a forum for that car, Do bunches of homework, Thats a lesson i should of did years back with my old honda. good luck

Thanks....im trying to decide between the E63 AMG or the Lexus IS F....or I may just keep the truck.....so tough to decide....I wish I could have them all!

Yeah, but the price to HP difference is huge......depends on what you want to spend.

whoa nelly...im talking used on both...its amazing but you can find some good low mileage E63 AMG's in the low 50's.....and about the same price for the IS F's....the mercedes is more car for sure....

The new M3 is a far more superior car, on all points.... The Merc has great power, but doesn't handle even close to as well (and the trans can never figure out what gear it wants to be in, because it has 7 to choose from)... the Lexus is "quick", but not as much as the Bimmer or Merc. It handles well, but the ride is down-right HARD.

BMW = FTW

That may be true with the BMW, but in my opinion all of the BMW's look the same on the front end and I don't really care for the front grill of the BMW's at all. They look horrible in my opinion.

my brother in law has a e55 amg and loves it. it throws you back in your seat with the huge amounts of torque. the 6.3 probably has more although i heard you can do more with the 55 (SLR uses the 55 engine)

having had time in the is-f and m3 last year....i freakin love that lexus...(but i'm a bimmer fan)....they didn't have an m5, but they did have an m6 6spd, so to me, the lex vs. m3 didn't fit...the IS is a full size, and the m3 is not...

although, i'm not a fan at all of the benz, i may be a bit biased...

i do know that the process for turning trac control completely off takes about 3 mins. of ebrake on, off, on, off, push something, wiggle your finger, eat a twinkie, fart twice....and if you don't do it right the first time, you have to start all over...:mad:

and the trans sometimes ... for lack of better terms... questions itself...8spds is a lot...

but man is it nice....and they sound awesome after 3 grand....really deep

e55 has the v-12 tt right :)

I seen a benz with the rentech package at capital and slicks run low 11's pretty fast for a big ass sedan. I was impressed, My friend has been looking into them for a lil bit now. the TT car anyway. Aint the v8 supercharged

It's all a matter of taste. :) I happen to like the "new" M3 a lot.... and I was fervently against the new design direction BMW has followed in the last 4-6 years. :eek:
