I have over 100,000 miles on my 99 RAM 4x4 shortbed standard cab with 2" lift and 305/70 tires (33/12.50 equiv).

Should I install new shocks ? I still have the stockers on it.It seems to ride ok,but could be better.I guess I just never thought about replacing them

I would put new shocks on. For me I would think shocks slowly deteriate and you don't even notice the difference untill you put some new ones on. Just a theory for me.

I'm with you on that,Not to many shocks can go 100,000 miles.

Most shocks are good for around 30-50k and with yours working a tad harder with the larger tires , yeppers go with a good set of rancho shocks or summin:D

Seems that all of you are thinking same as me.I just forgot about replacing them.

After I took the blower off of it,it became a daily driver and everything gets regular maintenance.I am fanantical about it.I just don't know how i forgot about the shocks.feel like a total dip-s_ _ t

I ran the original factory shocks on my old chevy truck for 210K with out problems----but then again I only changed the oil in it every 15K also----still got 5500 on a trade in ---hahaha what a deal ---the truck was free to beging with ---
