Tint Question...

they make a steamer that peels the tint right of with no glue left on the windows.
 
im not sure the website. but llumar is the company and they also make the best window tint that wont turn purple.

florida is not too bad on tint unless you run into an a-hole cop... a buddy of mine had limo tint all around including his windsheild, he paid the tickets as they came but its a non moving violation, so points on license
 
not sure how often this would work I only saw it one time. This is a tinter that I knew this is how he did mine. Needs to be done on a warm sunny day, this may be an issue for some not in Texas. Large hefty bag and tape it to fit the window leaving the top portion open to work. Cut the film with a razor in random places and spray it with windex. Tape the open portion to seal up the entire window and let it bake in the sun. When he did mine he just slid the tint off and cleaned the leftover glue with windex. He said the amonia cuts the glue and the sun/heat does the rest.

i put solid black vinal on my rear window and it rocks. to back up just open the slider. i had 2 1/2 on the sides, but it was too dark so its 5 now. the windshield has a 16" piece of black vinal and it looks SICK. no vision problems either.
 
For tint removal I have used a product called Goof-off. The tint literally wipes off. Be VERY careful though, as this stuff will remove everything it touches...

Very easy though overall - just apply to a rag and wipe away!
