HI it's Tania J.T.'s wife. I need help getting better vision from the driver's seat when I'm racing those Ferraris.:star: Even after the power settings have been cranked all the way up, I still need about three more inches to be able to see compfortably. Any suggestions?:dontknow: TIA.....Tania

I am sure the Hollywood phone book is quite large!! :D Just kidding!

This is not the first post you have made with JT's account, why not make your own? After all, you are just as well an SRT-10 owner as he is!! :D ;)

Hey its J.T. give a brother a hand and help me out if she can see a little more clearly I will be picking up a Reg cab from wood house:rock: already found the one I would like mineral gray fully loaded  ..

Is there a way to possibly bolt some sort of machined aluminum blocks under the seat bolts without losing too much strength?

I am not an engineer :dontknow: But I do have a Lionel set!!!! :D

how tall are you and her?? if u are not 7 foot 2 i would build shims and shim the seat

1.5 inch shim under the the mounting rail sould help, i would say go more but much like everyone else on this site thats a freak of nature and 12 feet tall i think it would be a happy medium.:D

Try borrowing a page out of the Indiana Jones collection.....

Indy's diminutive Asian sidekick.... an 8 yr old Asian kid he called "Short Round" was seen hot-rodding a rather delectable boat-tailed Auburn in the film "Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom".

His solution to the problem was one of tying some woodblocks to the soles of his shoes, thus easily and deftly operating the pedals......

Otherwise, I'd suggest adjusting the seat forward and extending the foot pedals as far out as they will go.......

Besides, it's not the overall height of a person that matters so much here. it is moreover the length of their legs......

I'm 5'-11", but my 5'-1" wife has legs that are actually an inch longer than mine....... Which means that I should actually be about 6'-9".

..........and anyone who has a problem with that can puff on my white owl...

You could be just shrinking with old age... :dontknow: :D :D :D :p

As other's have said... Talk to BOOMER or some other machinist. A nice set of billet alum. shims should do the trick. ......... Or go with a racing seat. :)
