Tire and wheel gurus

Looking at a set of 22 X 9.5 wheels. Would our stock tire size still put the same patch of tire on the pavement, given the fact that the stock wheels are 10"?

nope...there will be a slight radius towards the center as a high point, mount one and you will see.

Well, all I know is what I've been told by different tire / wheel people who deal with nothing but wheels and tires and they said it will lay down the same patch.... and it makes sense to me because take your tire that goes on your 10 inch wheel, and bend the side wall a 1/2 inch in.... the width of the tire is unchanged...

It depends on the tire actually. I ran Nitto 315's DR's on the back of T/A no problem. The minute I put some Goodyear Radial 315's, I had issues. Serious issues.

That minor of a change, I think you'll be ok.

No gets my vote. Stock is cool to me. I find myself drawn to a sexy 5 spoke or a nice "mesh" wheel.

I have to agree...I think the stock wheels are really nice looking wheels and fit the truck perfectly. Those aftermarket ones good good with that lowered QC though...

I'm also looking at a new set of Toyo's, but I can't find the Proxes ST with an XL rating. Is this rating a must for the QC?

Seriously though, I've tried a lot of wheels (with the computer) and I can't find a single one that looks better (to me) than the stockers. Most seem to make it look like an SRT imposter. :dontknow:
