Tire Dollies

nice ones. have used home made ones before. they are nice. put it where ya want it. these had steel casters so rolled real easy

what ya do with your engine oil cooler lines???

I was thinkin of making my own and still may consider it. $309 for these ones is a decent deal but by the time they get to Alberta they will be $800.

I just made up some steel braid hoses, pretty basic. Turned out really nice especially with the anodized aluminum hose holder deally.

These are the same basic idea but twice the money, I wonder if this is a get what you pay for deal. These ones are probably better quality. How do they work exactly? Pump up the cylinder to lift the car and then is there a pin to secure the 2 pieces together so that the weight isnt resting on the cylinders all the time?

I have a set that is basically shaped 1/4 inch plate on wheels. I have an 83 Mustang up on them.
The car can be moved by 1 guy but it's a lot easier with 2 guys. No jacks though, but a lot cheaper.

That is exactly how they work. The cylinders leak down (most hydraulics do) and if they were not pinned, the tires would settle back on the floor.

Actually MUCH better than the "E-Slay" ones... The casters are bigger. And the Griot's units have a foot pump.

Try getting those teeny-tiny casters on the cheap ones over a grain of say... kitty litter (oil dry).
