Okay so some of you know I have a build going on and I was hoping you guys could help me out. So far we expext to be around 750 whp. And be trapping between 120-125. But idk what gear and tire combo to run. I have both gears 4.56 and the stock 4.10 the 4.56 is currently in the truck and I think I would have to run a 32" tall tire to avoid shifting into 5th. Or do I change back to my stock 4.10 ajd run a 30" tall tire?

Any advice or suggestions?

1st gear - 2.66
2nd gear - 1.78
3rd gear - 1.30
4th gear - 1.0
5th gear - .74
6th gear - .50

Redline 6200
stock wheel height 31inch

Is that the 4.56 or the 4.10 and where did u get that?

Thats with any gear thats your transmission ratios, not your rear end.. you add in your rear end and you get the results you need.

Thats our trans ratios,

got it outa ma brain lol.. ive been doing lots with gearing lately and those re the numbers..

And where it says final drive ratio thats where you enter your rear end .. so 4.10 or 4.56 or in my case 3.55

P.S your welcome ... lol

Lol that just saved me a huge headache. Looks like I can keep my 4.56 as long as I usr a 32" tall tire..thanks brotha:rock:

Well before I make up my mind ill see what y all think

So these are the options
4.56 with 30" 4th gear 121 mph
4.56 with 32" 4th gear 129 mph
4.10 with 30" 4th gear 135 mph
4.10 with 32" 4th geat 144 mph

Keep in mind I dont have a final horsepower number yet but expect to be around 700-800 whp

Another option is a 4.10 with a 28" tire 126mph. If you already have 4.56's and 32" tires run it and see where its at.

32 would be your best bet with the 4.56's, what kind of time frame till your done? I've bee dragging my feet on my nitrous install need to get to work

Itll probably be 3-4 weeks till I get the truck back. Then you gotta figure in break in time for the motor and trans/clutch. Then gotta wait for a test and tune date. The track ownders around here a flippin stupid. They'll closrethe track on monday if it says theee a 10% chance of rain on friday

Hell yea you need to get going the bottle is addictive beware:)
Yeah I tore the whole front of the truck off to move some things around, hoping I can get the nitrous installed by the end of the weekend and maybe do a test and tune next Friday.

Man that sucks our track is open pretty much every Friday and Saturday, you font get many passes on saturdays but the track prep is normally better

Our track prep is always good for tnt when they have it. They closed it this weekend for mothers day..what track closes for mothers day. If somone had the cash they should open up a track around here and put this one to shame.
