I'm very happy with the Generals as well and they look great too! I think any tire would be better than the stock ones.

Nitto JUST released the new "INVO" tire.... But, the biggest size they have is 295/35/ZR22.... They say that they will be releasing more sizes shortly.

Wow those tires look amazing... i think i'd buy them just for the bling factor. :) But really, just listening to Mr. Yamamoto you realize how much design has gone into these tires!

I'm still deciding......

But I believe I'll do the Kumho Ecstas or the Toyo Proxes next......

These are (after all) still just trucks.... And, I think that spending 300 bucks a tire is a bit rich unless you require them for running competatively on a race course.....

I'm still not convinced that Generals quality control is up to snuff.... Sure some guys got good tires, but others did not.... It's a question of consistency... I don't think I trust 'em..... But that's just me....

Okay, went down the same section of highway where the truck used to be all over the place. Felt like a drunk driver, I was all over the road, and could not help it.

While not a 100% improvement, I would give it a 90%. This lane in this section of road is rutted and right on the crown of the road, center lane of 3. To be truthful that may be as good as it will ever get.

I have a nice sharp 90 degree left that is posted at 20mph and I always take it at 40 to 45. Truck stuck nice without any surprises.

Only thing I did not like about the Proxes is yesterday when I left the tire shop I stepped into it a little leaving the parking lot. They squealled like a stuck pig, where the OEM's were quiet when spinning. I do not like to advertize that I'm spinning the tires.

I will check that out again on the way home today.

For now, the Nitto 420ES looks promising. :dontknow:

The Nitto INVO look interesting.

I have the 420s for my Hemi (20 inch). I really like their lineup. I was also looking at the Dune Grapplers for the Hemi.

What's nice about some of the Nittos is that you can rotate them to any postion, not just front and back on one side.

After more research I went with the Conti Contact UHP's Got them for $743 shipped from Tire Rack. On most tire review sites these got better ratings overall, less noise, longer tread life, better traction, and perform better in wet weather.

The asymmetrical ContiCrossContact UHP tire features a “bionic contour designâ€￾ which optimizes the shape of the contact patch based on driving situations. In normal driving, the tire has a standard contact patch area, but the patch grows larger under braking and hard maneuvering,

Discount Tire, they are $201 each shipped, plus they are running a $60 mail in rebate for purchase of 4 tires. So the bottom line price is $744.00

The best price I've found is 180.80 each and you pay shipping about 25.00 ea to my door. Here's the link. http://www.tires-easy.com/start.html I have ordered from them and got a perfect tire. No blems or seconds (actually it looked better than the ones that came on the truck). Much better than the local Sears that was $325.00 ea installed
