Can't recall his name, think I met him, but you know a QC srt doesn't fair all that well in the 1/8.
That was in a street tire only class where the engines bolt on mods only.
I ran in the series but they stuck me in outlaw class (which was insane) mainly because of my all to obvious 390's DR's

A stock QC is a ~14 second vehicle...the mustang a mid 13 vehicle.......if the QC had a tune and maybe exhaust it would be fairly equal race in the qtr.....probably not in the 1/8th...

I've smoked plenty of mustangs, Cobras, Roush's.....yes you needs a tune and a few other bolt-ons dont hurt on either. Remember that our truck have very few products out there to chose from, and whats out there is sometimes very expensive....but hey, its getting to be a rare truck to see and find out there.



All I had at the time was a tune and Ironheads Volant CAI........

Well I have to disagree that a Mustang like that runs 13s. I think they are low 14s as well stock. My truck ran 13.99 stock and after tune,exhaust, and cai I have taken a slightly modded LS1 TA and a 6.0 GTO recently with Tooloe in my truck as witness. I also took out a 350Z and a G35 the same night. Usually don't waste gas on a Ford unless it sounds hopped!

The lowest Ive gotten was a 13.5 with just full exaust and Volant CAI...And that was 1 year a go...now Im playing with those GTs with there fancy superchargers
