My voltage gauge drops to zero randomly, I turn the truck off then back on and it fixes it self. I think its the internal voltage regulator?
Thanks,

Hello,

It is highly unlikely that is voltage regulator related. With a failed regulator, the voltage gauge would not drop to zero, it would either fluctuate down to 12-13 and slowly drop, or jump to 15-16+ that changes based on RPM.

You likely have a gauge cluster internal failure, or more unlikely, some kind of an internal PCM error that is not encoding the voltage over the bus for some reason.

If the voltage gauge is the ONLY one going offline, 99% says it is the cluster itself.
