I could be wrong on this, but I thought it was an official press release by DC that someone posted on the NFFF site at that time.

There were two issues with DC being late with the introduction of the cover and wing. One was the redesign issue due to lift, and the other was a quality control issue with the original supplier that was supposed to manufacture it.

It was supposed to be a mid 2005 introduction. Some of the trucks actually had it included in the price and the sticker then had a cover delete item that gave a $1200.00 rebate.

I got a $1000 sticker price reduction....and now the dealer charges $3000+ for the cover....yeah that's fair.....:hmmmm2:
