I have been looking around for a while now and have not seen any other trucks out their with this lock setup on their tonneau covers. I have lost the key for it and tried ordering one from the dealer without any luck.

A Locksmith should be able to hook you up. They have books of lock mfg and the key patterns.

The key was shaped like a giant wing nut and is a barrel lock. Do you think a locksmith could order a key?
You could drive it to them and they can match it up without much problems... A Good one will not have a problem with it..
