Anyone else having issues with the cover rubbing on the bedrails? When i bought the truck it had signs of wear, so i cranked up the bumpstops to try and "float" the cover a lil more, but i cant seem to prevent it. I have the ARE cover (not sure if its factory or what?) Any advice with the situation? Thanks in advance!

Every tonneau cover I had on my other trucks do the same thing except my on my viper truck yours might be after market

My stock one does it, it's not horrible but there are rub marks in the some parts. It's just on the inside part of the bedrail

The ARE is after market and what I had on mine. I did two things. I used clear bra on the bed rails and on long trips (greater than 100 miles, did a lot of them) I used red duct tape to add a bit more protection. With it on over the clear bra, I had no issues. After having th bed rails painted once, never wanted to do it again. With the cover down, you can't see the tape or the clear bra.

That sounds good, thats what the bodyshop told me, that they would have to paint the entire panels...im just worried about the paint matching. Dont know how much mine has faded...if any. It looked to always be garaged kept though so maybe i will luck out. After i get it done (someday in the future) i will try the clear film for sure. Thanks for your input guys.

Not sure what brand mine is but it has a liner kinda like the bed rug I have, just a few rub spots on the top of the tailgate none on the rails.
