took out the hood screen

i painted the inside of my volant scoop gloss black and took out the screen in the hood:rock:

Took mine out too...the screen just looks cheap...but be careful....I had a Civic go thru mine...only thing that stopped him from going into the intake was his tail pipe got stuck in the scoop openning.....

it looks an inch biggerIMO kinda like when u shave your pubic hairs

Hey viper did you paint you factory chrome grill black? If so what did ya use cause i wanted to do the same

i used 1000 and 1500 grit sandpaper and duplicolor flat black automotive paint, i painted two coats resanded with the 1500 and shot two more coats. i love it:rock:

Looks good man! when you cut the tabs out did you use any sandpaper
to smooth them down or did you just get real close to the paint? I know
when i did it, took me a good hour or so to get the tabs smoothed out
to my liking. Still need to paint them though lol

my buddy did it with a little dremmel tool and smoothed it out perfectly but yea it would look better painted
