Torque converter ???'s

:dontknow: What is a lock up torque converter? Is it a better performance choice than a non-lockup converter? ---what are the differences?...:dontknow:

A lockup converter has very little to no slippage at highway speeds, not sure if you can get a performance converter (2200 to 2800 stall speed) in a lockup style. I sure other members will know this.
