Towing with a 2006 RC

Hey guys im new to the forums and i just got my 2006 SRT-10 RC This weekend and i love it:rock: . Now i have been searching all ove rthe forums and i just wanted to know if 1,200lb would do alot of stress on the truck:dontknow: and does the QC trailer hitch bolt right on.

Shouldnt be a problem at all, the trailer hitch from mopar bolts right on.

i tow with mine ocasionally..avoid slipping the clutch

The dealerships and the owners manual state not to tow with an RC, due to clutch and suspensions not being able to take a load. I would not want to TRY it on a 50k truck and take my chances. Buy a 3/4 ton Hemi if you want to tow something. These are Vipers that can hold 800 lbs of weight in the bed. Anything after that and you are just taking risks.

An RC cannot tow......end of story!

But this guy hasn't had any problems. When asked about it, all he said was it tows like a dream and he's not had any problems. Just don't get stupid with it while hauling something. Common sense. He said he's talked to a guy who helped developed the truck and it's secretly capable of 6500 lbs. But Dodge will never admit to it because people will be drag racing with it while towing and tear up stuff (clutch). Did I mention common sense??? Not everyone has it and you can't buy it.
