With my QC, Supercharger, and Tranny mods, etc.. do you think that I will be safe to tow approximatley 4,000 lbs from Phoenix area to Temecula, California area.

I want to rent a U-haul car hauler, and take my sand car to California Sand Sports in Murrieta, CA.

They will bring it back for me...

I might also make my trip worthwhile and head over to DC to have them do a custom tune for me while I am in the area....

4,000 lbs includes the trailer weight and the vehicle on the trailer.

Obviously I am not going to be a speed demon, etc... on the way there, will take it easy...

Ive towed about the same weight with my QC but its not supercharged??? But i think you would be fine. Before the new diesel trucks became all the rage we used to tow are race cars & bikes with a big block chevy dully with a paxton the mileage wasnt the best but we used that truck for about 4 years with no major problems.

Thats what I am thinking..as long as I am easy on it...I should be fine.

I would watch the wideband and might even throw-in some high octane fuel. Not sure how your tune is setup, but if you have too much load, you might need to pull back some timing or put some good gas in it. Your 06 will pull back timing w/ the knock, but it would be safer for it not having to pull timing for the entire trip because knock is constantly going off :D (just incase it screws up).
