TRACK Repossed.......

Our local track in Fernley NV(40 Min) was repossed by the banks not to long ago(2 months). About a $1M was spent on the surface about a year ago. Great track and a ton of fun.

It was a 4 mile track w like 23 turns, 8 configurations, elevation changes, a drag strip, although not a very good one. Overall a great track.

Bank came in and simply took it apart. K rails from track in parking lot.

The plan was for homes to be built around the track w a golf course. There are a couple homes around but off a lil bit. I wonder if they were part of the land purchase and sold separately or part of the overall repossesion?

They were in the process of adding a go cart track. The dirt track saw some use as a demolition derby and sprint cars(?) circle track.

DAMN SHAME.

I called around today.

It seems they are trying to work with the bank before it actually goes into the banks books.

They are either going to file Chapter 7 or 11 reorganizition.

Fingers Crossed.

And actually its like 4+miles and 30+ turns and 15 configurations.

I think they are gunnah want $MILLIONS

They actually use it as they dont get much snow. But it does not get much use during winter. Testing by motorcycle sponosors, track days by a couple clubs, a lil big 3 testing.

I would have to check with some friends and see what the bank is in it for. I have 2 sponsored motorcycle friends that know the owners. They also have a motorcycle dyno and go to all WEST COAST tracks. They will know for sure what the scoop is.
